Family shows & activities 

The amazing magician for families Tom Brace was due to perform at artsdepot this summer. Enjoy his digital magic show broadcast live on Sun 28 Jun from his home to yours! Get involved as he explores what it means to stay truly connected. Purchase your ticket here.

Little Angel Theatre are creating interesting and entertaining children's videos during lockdown. Their brand new video, Scoop's Space, is a digital retelling of their 2018 production Junk, about the magic in the things we throw away. Watch Scoop's Space here.

Create music at home with the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group! Through activities, learn how to make your own soundtrack inspired by the deep blue sea. Based on Deep by composer Shiori Usui, harness the power of the ocean in your music. Explore the activity here.

Shows & activities for adults

Royal Opera House is streaming live performances of ballet and opera this month as part of their #OurHouseToYourHouse series. Marvel at ballet duet Morgan choreographed by Wayne McGregor, whose show FAR was staged at artsdepot earlier this year. Watch the performance here.

AirCraft Circus run workshops and classes for all ages, teaching and practising circus skills. You can learn brand new skills like juggling, acrobatics, stretching and more through online workshops. To explore the range of classes, head to their website here.

New Diorama Theatre had to cancel Incoming Fest this year, showcasing new and fresh work from upcoming theatre companies. Experience work_from_home from Mon 22 Jun - Fri 3 Jul, a digital performance where you log on, contribute and do nothing. Book your tickets here.

While the stage for the Royal Court is still set for The Shoe Lady, the performances have been stopped. Hester Chillingworth's installation, Caretaker, makes the auditorium space into a moment to pause and have affirmation. The live stream is continually running on YouTube here.

Community Spotlight: Step and Sweat

We have hosted the popular Step and Sweat classes for a few years, a chance for participants to try ballroom dancing as fitness. Class leader is Strictly Come Dancing choreographer Patrick Raja-Helm - and he's still running the classes online! Book your spot in the online class here.
