Once we’ve confirmed availability for your class, we will send you a set-up sheet to complete. We’ll use the information you provide to create your booking contract, payment invoice and marketing package.

You can choose to pay per calendar month or per term (based on London Borough of Barnet term dates). You will receive regular invoices from our Finance Officer throughout the year based on your chosen payment schedule.

Hire fees start from £12 + VAT per hour for the small meeting room and £26 + VAT per hour for our larger studios. Discounts may be available for your first term of bookings; please ask for details.

If you require access to the space before your class to set up and / or afterwards to pack away, this should be included in the time you request the space for.

• Hirers will be asked for details of relevant training qualifications and/or to provide satisfactory evidence that they are qualified/experienced to teach public classes.
• For classes open to children and young people aged under 18 years or vulnerable adults, all tutors and class assistants will need to provide proof of a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check carried out within the past three years.
• Hirers will need to provide proof of their own Public Liability Insurance (at least up to £5 million cover)
• If you’re running a physical activity class we will require proof of a valid First Aid qualification. If you don’t currently have this, please contact us to discuss.
• If we consider your class or course to be high risk we may also ask you to provide a full Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS).

You will need to adhere to artsdepot’s Safeguarding Policy and fire evacuation procedures.

Hirers are responsible for their own marketing but we will support you by providing:

• Free listing in the Things to do section of the artsdepot website.
• Free listing in our Classes flyer subject to print deadlines. This is printed three times per year with a circulation of 6,000 copies per season.
• Free listing in our Classes timetable situated on the artsdepot Classes noticeboard.
• Free electronic poster on our community events digital screen situated next to the Classes noticeboard.
• We also display A5 printed flyers if they are provided by the hirer. Flyers will be displayed in the racks beneath the Classes noticeboard.

Our marketing package does not include social media marketing.

Generally, Courses & Classes hirers manage their own bookings. If you would like artsdepot Box Office to manage the bookings on your behalf, please contact us to discuss as an additional fee will apply.
