A birthday party at the theatre is a great way to celebrate with friends and family. We have an exciting programme of family shows nearly every weekend and hosting a birthday party at artsdepot is simple.
We can hold birthday parties on Saturdays and Sundays during school term time. We are unable to offer any children’s parties during school half-terms or holidays (not including summer holidays). This will also include any weekends immediately before and after these school holidays.
To arrange your party:
- Choose a show from our family programme and contact the Box Office on 020 8369 5454 to reserve your tickets.
- Contact the Café Manager on 020 8369 5479 or cafe.supervisor@artsdepot.co.uk to arrange your party, and order birthday lunchboxes. Please check that your party can be accommodated before purchasing your theatre tickets.
- The Café Manager will send you a birthday party booking form, returning this to us will confirm your party booking.
Lunchboxes are charged at £9 per box (minimum order of 10 lunch boxes).
Theatre show parties - FAQs
Our lunch boxes contain either a sandwich (ham, jam or cheese) or a cheese & tomato pizza slice with crisps, yogurt, cheese stick, juice, fruit (banana or apple), raisins or sweets.
A space in a public area will be reserved with a table cloth for your party. This will either be in our Café on level 2 or on Level 3; the exact location cannot be confirmed in advance of the day.
You are welcome to bring your own birthday cake; we’ll happily store it for you and provide paper plates and a knife.
We cannot provide personalised event support for birthday parties in public areas.
Children’s parties in a private room
If you would prefer to have a party in a private area, we have a selection of rooms available for hire. The hire fee for Children’s parties in a private room is £275 + VAT, for up to three hours inclusive of set-up time and clear away time. Extra hours can be booked for an additional charge.
Maximum capacity up to 60 people, dependent on room hired. Trestle tables and chairs are included. Our cafe can provide party lunchboxes and adult catering for parties in private rooms.
