Delivered by Zoe Gibbons, this workshop is aimed at artists and emerging producers who are planning their first research and development phase for a new idea or project.

In the workshop, Zoe will cover what should be included on your project proposal to find creative, venue and engagement partners, building your budget and planning your project’s timeline. There will be time at the end of this 1hr 30-minute session for questions.

This event is part of artsdepot’s Artist Development workshop programme.

About Zoe Gibbons

Zoe is an independent theatre producer who founded Zoe Gibbons Productions in 2025. She’s produced work in London, the Midlands and across the UK at venues including Brixton House, Derby Theatre, Birmingham Hippodrome, Cambridge Junction, Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, Mercury Theatre and Camden People’s Theatre. She’s previously been supported by Stage One producers bursary, Stage One’s Bridge The Gap programme and China Plate’s Optimists. Zoe also works at artsdepot as their Artist Development Producer.

Zoe Gibbons Productions (ZGP) supports writers and theatre-makers to create socially impactful and bold new work, elevating under-platformed voices. With a strong focus on artist development, the Company regularly works on creative debuts and with artists looking to scale up their work. MILLENNIUM GIRLS by Sophia Leonie, directed by Jade Lewis, was the company’s first production selling out 11 of the 18 performances at Brixton House Theatre in May.
