artsdepot invites you to become a member of Barnet & Culture for Youth (free of charge). The partnership is for schools and any organisations, individuals or artists working with young people in Barnet.
Members will receive information about opportunities from other members, be able to apply for access funding and join our working groups. artsdepot is offering schools support with Artsmark and connections with arts organisations. Similarly, we are offering arts organisations the opportunity to develop partnerships and relationships with schools. Barnet & Culture for Youth runs two events a year for members to connect as well as CPD workshops throughout the year.

Susy has recently retired as Headteacher of Akiva School, Finchley, a progressive Jewish 2-form entry voluntary aided primary school – which she led since 2008. In April 2019, Susy won the Lifetime Achievement Award London Borough of Barnet.
Barnet Education Arts Trust
BEAT has bands and groups for classical, jazz and rock musicians aged 3 and over. They also run choirs. They stage regular concerts and organise a seven night festival at artsdepot for all Barnet Schools.
Barnet Libraries
Barnet Libraries run a number of creative services for children and young people including their summer reading challenge.
Barnet's Schools Improvement Service
Barnet's Schools Improvement Service offers specialist support to all of Barnet's schools and educators, including those choosing to home educate. The service facilitates networks and training, supports schools identified as being in need of development, provides targeted support programmes aiming to improve mental health, and also supports the borough's special educational needs schools and pupil referral units.
The Compton School
The Compton is an academy school for boys and girls aged 11 to 18 and the school years range from year 7 to year 13. They are an outstanding School and a National Teaching School. They have achieved Artsmark Gold Award.
The Hyde School
The Hyde School is a local primary school. They have achieved an Outstanding Ofsted as well as Artsmark Platinum Award.

Mapledown School
Mapledown is a community special school for pupils aged between 11 - 19. They have achieved Artsmark Gold Award.
Middlesex University
Middlesex University offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries has departments including media, performing arts, design and visual arts.
The Pavilion School
The Pavilion is an alternative education provision in Barnet who cater for young people aged 4 - 16 who are not in mainstream education. The Pavilion offers a personalised curriculum for every young person to ensure they are on a personalised pathway to a positive future.
The RAF Museum
The RAF Museum London uses the stories of its people and our collections in order to engage, inspire and encourage learning. The Learning Programme at the London Museum attracted learners with History and Arts based provision sitting alongside STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) workshops and activities.
Young Barnet Foundation
Young Barnet Foundation brings charities and organisations together to support and build capacity in the CYP voluntary sector across Barnet. Their vision is for young people to grow up healthy, safe and happy with the best opportunities to secure brighter futures.
Unitas Youth Zone
Barnet Youth Zone, named by young people as ‘Unitas’, is an independent charity and is a purpose-built facility for the borough’s young people aged 8 – 19, and up to 25 for those with disabilities.
