Come explore the S.H.E.D (The Social Higher Education Depot), a unique touring arts installation from Designing Dialogue CIC and the University of Derby, that transforms a familiar garden shed into a creative space for conversation, discovery and ‘Shedding light on people and place’.

S.H.E.D is a flexible arts and research space that has engaged tens of thousands of people across the UK and internationally, creating opportunities for dialogue, creativity and co-design.

During this week, S.H.E.D will serve as a hub for creativity and community engagement, inviting visitors of all ages to explore interactive activities, share ideas and contribute to an exciting local project. Throughout its stay in Barnet, the S.H.E.D team will be working with residents, community groups and cultural organisations to gather insights on role of creativity to support health and wellbeing. S.H.E.D has also commissioned local and national artists including Radiant Girl Projects CIC, Carla Dee, Michael Pinchbeck and AgeUK who have created responses to Barnet and what place and community means to them.

Whether you’re visiting with family, friends or on your own, drop in, get involved and help contribute to a creative legacy that celebrates the voices and experiences of Barnet’s communities.

Free to visit. Suitable for all ages.
