Be dazzled by Swan Lake Act III, the famously challenging party scene, featuring the iconic Black Swan pas de deux. Prince Siegfried is invited to select a fiancée at a lavish party attended by international ambassadors. He is captivated by Odile, who Rothbart has magically disguised as Odette, the swan maiden and his true love.
See the breath-taking Kingdom of the Shades from Act III of La Bayadère. The corps de ballet mesmerise with their hypnotic opening to Solor’s dream, as he is reunited with his love Nikiya.
The performance also features an exciting selection of mixed works. Enjoy the historic Grand Pas de Quatre; dynamic premieres by company dancers Rachel Limb, Elizabeth McLaughlin and Naomi Smart; and modern pieces by guest artists from Liverpool.
The programme draws on Chelsea Ballet’s 59-year heritage and origins with founder and former Ballet Rambert dancer Thelma Litster.
