A warm, inclusive space for women aged 18+ to explore women’s health, share stories and experiences, and connect with others.

Her Circle is a welcoming wellbeing space for women aged 18+ from all backgrounds across Barnet to come together, connect and have open conversations about women’s health.

Created by long-time Barnet resident Madhu Kapoor, the circle was created after her own experience of struggling to find the right support during menopause. This led her to become passionate about improving support around menstruation and menopause, particularly for women whose voices and experiences are often overlooked.

Whilst Her Circle is a space to share experiences and listen to others, you will also leave feeling empowered with practical tools based on what has helped other local women.

Whether you are navigating periods, pregnancy, menopause, family life, work pressures, stress, changing relationships or simply looking for connection and support, these circles are for you.

Each session is relaxed, informal and community-led, with refreshments (lots of tea and coffees!), guided conversations, practical wellbeing tools and creative activities.

At Her Circle, you can:

  • Explore women’s health in a safe, non-judgemental space
  • Learn through shared and differing experiences
  • Gain practical tips for navigating work, family life and everyday wellbeing
  • Better understand changes happening in your body and mind
  • Feel confident in accessing support which suits you
  • Meet and connect with women from different backgrounds and generations

There is no pressure to speak or share. You are welcome to join in at your own pace: whether you want to talk, listen, reflect or simply be part of the space.

We welcome women from all cultures, faiths, communities and experiences, as it is exactly why these circles have been set up! The aim to create a space where every woman feels seen, heard and included.

This event is supported by artsdepot as part of the In Our Hands fund.
