Roots & Wings

Through this programme we offer opportunities for refugees, asylum seekers and migrant communities to engage in creative activities. There are three strands to this activity:

Jasmine Group This group, run in partnership with Barnet Refugee Service, meet at artsdepot on a Tuesday morning from 10am - 1pm.  It is an opportunity for women to make social contacts, and improve their self esteem and self confidence through arts activity. In the past the group have created a photography exhibition, published a book of poetry and worked with international musicians to create their own CD.

This year, the Jasmine Group will be working with performance artist Natasha Davis to create a short performance as part of Internal Terrains.

To join the group please call Vicky on 020 8369 5462 or simply turn up.

Youth Outreach We regularly work in partnership with local agencies to offer bespoke arts projects for young people in community settings. At the end of each programme participants are invited to take up subsidised placed in our Youth Theatre, Youth Dance or Street Circus companies.
