Upstanding Citizens is a weekly movement and dance class.
Focusing on building strength, coordination and balance through movement, this course will help to develop confidence in a fun and friendly environment.
The class offers participants a creative and sociable approach to movement and exercise with the aim of reducing risk of falling and improving well-being.
Sessions take place on Fridays, 1.30pm – 3.00pm in East Finchley at YMCA Tarling Road Community Hub, N2 8LG.

About our prices
Base Rate – £10 This cost is the basic rate required to cover the running costs of the class. A block booking discount is available – £9 per session when you book 3+ sessions.
Supporter Rate – £15 The supporter rate is for anyone who is able to and wants to pay a bit extra to support other participants. The money goes into our Access fund which enables us to offer subsidised spaces for those who experience financial barriers which mean they wouldn’t be able to participate in the class. A block booking discount is available – £14 per session when you book 3+ sessions.
Subsidised Rate – £7 This is available for anyone experiencing financial difficulty at the moment, it is subsidised by our Access Fund.
About the venue
YMCA Tarling Road Community Hub, N2 8LG in the Western Meeting Hall.
(Main entrance via Tarling Road)
The venue is fully accessible with free on-street parking at the front of the building and a car park round the back of the building. Press the buzzer at any entrance to the building and the Receptionist will open the door for you. You can then take the lift to the Western Meeting Hall where the class will take place.
