Impact Kidz’ Musical Theatre Summer Camp is Back – and this year, we're off to see the Wizard!

Join us for a magical 2 weeks of Summer filled with adventure, friendship, and unforgettable songs as we bring The Wizard of Oz to life on stage!

The Camp will run Monday 18 August – Friday 22 August and Monday 25 August – Saturday 30 August 2025, with 50 participants working towards a performance of The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition in our Pentland Theatre. A one-hour adaptation of the RSC version of Baum’s classic tale, specially designed for young performers.

Join Dorothy and her loyal companion Toto as they “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” through the Land of Oz, determined to reach the Emerald City, where the great and powerful Wizard of Oz will help them get home. Of course, along the way, Dorothy encounters witches (both good and bad), Munchkins, talking trees and winged monkeys. But most importantly, she befriends three unique characters: a Scarecrow with no brain, a Tin Man with no heart, and a Lion with no “nerve.” Their journey to happiness – and self-awareness – is a glowing testament to friendship, understanding and hope in a world filled with both beauty and ugliness.

If you are interested in taking part, please complete this Registration form: https://forms.office.com/e/kGiLPaadxV

Please note that submitting a Registration form does not guarantee a place but will allow us to allocate places to those we feel the course can offer the most impact to, including free places for those on low incomes* and participants with access needs**.

Other things to know:

  • Participants must be available for the entire two weeks of camp to register.
  • Free places are available to families who receive benefit-related Free School Meals in the borough of Barnet and will require sign up via the BACE website: https://barnetyouth.uk/BACE-Holidays (NB. applications are not yet open). Free places are funded per day per child – thus if you child misses any camp days for reasons other than illness, they will not be considered for the following year’s camp.
  • Camps are inclusive and accessible to those with physical and learning disabilities. Please explain your child’s needs in detail so we can ensure appropriate support is in place. Each identified camper will receive an individualised support plan while at camp, developed alongside their family and camp staff. Please note that we cannot offer 1-to-1 support and if this is what your child requires to thrive then this programme is not the appropriate environment for them.
  • All data will be shared with Impact Theatre Company and artsdepot.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at participation@artsdepot.co.uk
