Informal talk and Q&A with artist Helen Masacz.
Aimed at emerging visual artists, join us as we hear from Helen about her career to date, highlighting the ways in which she has built a financially sustainable career as an artist.
Helen Masacz graduated with a BA Hons in Fine Art from Middlesex University and then studied further at the London Atelier School. Her paintings have been exhibited in 5 solo exhibitions, and over 50 group exhibitions including The BP Portrait Awards at the National Portrait Gallery, Gofigurative at The Bloomsbury Art Fair, and shows at The Mall Gallery, The Edinburgh Art Fair and The Affordable Art Fair in Battersea. Helen was a recipient of the Art’s Club Award at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, she has been commissioned by HM Master of the Rolls, The Dean of Mansfield College, Oxford University, and leading figures in arts and commerce.
This event is part of artsdepot’s STATIONS Artist Development workshop programme.
Free places are available for Barnet-based artists, funded by The Shared Prosperity Fund, Mayor of London and UK Government. To be eligible, you must have a UTR (for self-employed artists) or company number. To apply for your free ticket, please complete this form.
Base Rate – £8 This cost is the basic rate required to cover the running costs of the class.
Supporter Rate – £10 The supporter rate is for anyone who is able to and wants to pay a bit extra to support other participants. The money goes into our Access fund which enables us to offer subsidised spaces for those who experience financial barriers which mean they wouldn’t be able to participate in the workshop.
Subsidised Rate – £5 This is available for anyone experiencing financial difficulty at the moment, it is subsidised by our Access Fund.
