'Out of the Blue' by Georgie McEwan invites us into a world of the unexpected, a re-imagined landscape of the everyday where we can engage in the freedom of our imagination.
Everyday fragments are transformed into a collection of dreamlike architectures and poetic abstractions of colour and pattern.
Georgie McEwan is a multidisciplinary artist based in London. Her work is centred around the poetry of the every day and is inspired by collage, chance and the boundaries between architecture and art. Through painting, sculpture and installation she celebrates the overlooked, forgotten or discarded through dreamlike abstractions.
Meet the artist! Join Georgie McEwan on Sun 7 Apr for a Collage Making Workshop, suitable for all ages.
