A vibrant 90-minute carnival theatre performance celebrating Barnet’s rich cultural communities through music, movement, costume and storytelling.
Blending live steelband, dance, spoken word, digital projections and community voices, the show follows four waves of migration that have shaped the borough’s identity. Audiences travel through South Asian, African and Caribbean, Jewish, Eastern European, Middle Eastern and global stories, with each act exploring themes of arrival, resilience, memory and belonging. Featuring intergenerational performers, striking carnival design and a joyful finale, the production celebrates Barnet as a place made stronger by shared journeys.
