Join one of the country’s longest established amateur ballet companies for a sparkling programme of dance. Enjoy the stunning final act of three classical ballet favourites.
Opening the programme is Coppelia Act III, a joyous celebration of dance. Swanhilda and Franz are married in a beautiful pas de deux, and villagers dance to celebrate.
The Spanish-inspired Paquita is a show stopper. The ballet is filled with fiery solos and a beautiful pas de deux for Paquita and Lucien.
The performance finishes with Act II of The Nutcracker, the perfect way to kick off the festive season. We follow Clara and the Nutcracker into the Kingdom of Sweets to meet the Sugar Plum Fairy.
The programme draws on Chelsea Ballet’s 58 year heritage and origins with founder and former Ballet Rambert dancer Thelma Litster.
Please visit Chelsea Ballet’s website for more details.
In loving memory of Tony Latham.
