artsdepot’s Dance Group for over 60s is an opportunity to learn contemporary dance technique and explore creative movement led by a professional, experienced dance teacher.
An opportunity to improve your health and wellbeing by learning the fundamentals of contemporary dance technique and exploring your own creative movement. Classes are focused on developing strength, stamina, balance and flexibility.
An accessible and energising class for you to get moving, meet other people and share in termly performances for friends and family.
Express yourself, have fun and exercise from head to toe!
No experience necessary.
Spring Term: Fri 18 Jan - Fri 5 Apr (no classes on Fri 22 Feb & Fri 1 Mar)
Summer Term: Fri 3 May - Fri 12 Jul (no classes on Fri 31 May)
Venue: Drama Space
New participants can attend an initial taster session before making a booking for the term. Taster sessions are free, but are subject to availability and can be booked no more than one week in advance. Please note that booking a taster session does not guarantee a place on the full course. Please contact the Box Office on 020 8369 5454 to book a taster session.
Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing they can move in, e.g. tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt.
We're keen to hear from participants from all backgrounds and have a limited number of subsidised places available for those who could otherwise not afford to attend. Please contact our Participation team at firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
