Xnthony LTD are an award-winning production house led by performer, maker, and writer XNTHONY and Executive Producer Hannah Turk.
The company creates explosive theatre, cabaret, and community experiences that challenge societal norms and reimagine historical events. Their work has been commissioned by big and cool organisations like the Roundhouse, the National Theatre, Southbank Centre and Roscommon Co Co in Ireland (where Xnthony hails from). Dedicated to supporting LGBTQI+ artists across Ireland and the UK, they mentor up and coming queer makers through platforms like WERK and WERKshop.
Their upcoming theatre show, Troll Farm, dives into the world of troll farms — groups of internet trolls hired by governments to manipulate public opinion. To give the subject matter a theatrical twist… they’ve crafted a story about a secretive organisation that creates three pop stars to spread propaganda through their music. Yep. And to make things worse, as the world teeters on the edge, their debut is jeopardised when their lead singer goes missing. Inspired by South Korea’s pop star academies and works like Naomi Klein’s Doppelganger, the project is supported by artsdepot and Arts Council Ireland.
