The Building

artsdepot is completely accessible to wheelchair users with step free access throughout. Multiple lifts provide access to all floors.

Our Box Office, Café, and Bar all have lowered counter-top sections for wheelchair users to place their orders.

Disabled toilets can be found on levels 2 & 3.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome.

Accessible Events

Our family event days are accessible. There's wheelchair access on all levels with step-free access throughout. Multiple lifts provide access to all activities. The event programmes are available in large print.

Please be aware that the building gets busy and noisy on these days, but a Quiet Space with a variety of sensory toys and areas to sit and lie down is provided. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome. All activities are facilitated in a relaxed, informal environment.

Staff members trained in mental health first aid are attending the event. We aim to make our events accessible to everyone, and our staff will be happy to assist you in any way they can on the day. We aim to keep our family event days free or accessible at a very low cost.

If you would like to discuss any specific access needs before your visit please contact us at or 020 8369 5454.

If you're coming to see a show and have special access requirements, please contact us in advance so that we can make sure your needs are catered for.

We have specific seats available for wheelchair users inside our two theatres. These provide good views of the stage and ease of access. Please call the Box Office to book these seats.

artsdepot’s disability and access policy complies with the Disability Discrimination Act, where all patrons are treated equally and therefore does not offer concessions for disabled audience members. However, for most performances, if you are disabled and require a personal assistant that personal assistant can receive a complimentary ticket.

Both of our theatres have induction loop infrared systems for those who are hard of hearing, which can be made available on request. Please make us aware in advance when booking tickets if you require the use of the induction loop system, so we can ensure you receive a headset when you arrive.

For most performances, assistance dogs are welcome in the auditorium. However, on occasion this may not be possible due to the content or format of the show. Please contact the Box Office in advance if you would like to bring an assistance dog to a performance. A member of staff can dog-sit for the duration of a performance upon request.
