Calling all creatives for the Young Artists Exhibition 2026: Light + Flight!

Join us for Light + Flight, a vibrant exhibition showcasing the creativity of young artists (ages 11-25) from Barnet and surrounding boroughs. This display of colour and imagination will take place in the Apthorp Gallery from Sunday 24 May – Saturday 30 May 2026, with a Private View on Tuesday 26 May, 6 – 8pm.

Who Can Apply?

• Open to emerging artists aged 11 – 25 from Barnet and nearby areas
• Artworks in any medium – pencil, paint, clay, sculpture, sound, video and more – are welcome
• Free to submit

Theme:
In celebration of Light + Flight, a Cultural Impact Award, part of the Mayor’s London Borough of Culture programme, we’re looking for artwork exploring illumination, movement, freedom, journeys, hope, energy, nature, imagination or transformation. Glowing skies, soaring birds, city lights, migration, technology, dreams taking off – however you interpret the theme, we want to see it. Let your ideas take off and exhibit your work at artsdepot.
