A bold new performance of the legend of Prambanan.

Prince Bandung, cunning and brutal, wields charms and seduction as swiftly as his sword. Fresh from victory, he sets his sights on Roro Jonggrang, the daughter of the very king he slew. Meanwhile, in a village where beauty decides one’s fate, Andjani, a 16-year-old girl ostracized for her looks, hungers to become a ronggeng-dancer and gain recognition – but at what cost? And how do these three lives collide in a tale of survival, fear, and power? Thus begins the tale of envy and vengeance, where beauty meets tragedy, and the heart’s desire becomes its own undoing.
