Residency Dates: Mon 8 - Tue 16 Oct
Trajectory Theatre are interactive and intermedial digital performance makers. They collaborate online and offline, and the resulting work is made for site specific and virtual spaces. They are interested in interpersonal connection, the future of the digital era, and the changing notions of reality.
Trajectory, formed in 2014 at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and comprises of director/technologist Roderick D. Morgan and actor/writer Chris Leaney. Their experimentation to date has involved creating intimacy through incorporating virtual/augmented reality and live performance.
During their residency they created a work that explored British circus history of the last 250 years, which came out of Kings College London and Brighton University's XR circus project (funded by the AHRC). They were joined on this project by associate artist Thomas Jancis.
