SEN Work Experience

We offer a programme of work experience for learning disabled young people aged 16 - 24.

Participants spend time with each department in the venue, experiencing what is required to run a busy, professional arts venue, alongside opportunities to work with artists and external practitioners. The programme aims to develop the young people’s understanding of potential routes into careers and opportunities in the arts as well as developing both creative and employability skills. Participants also work towards Arts Award qualifications. Following this programme some students go on to carry out work experience placements with partner organisations.

In 2021, the 10 - 12 week programme will run weekly on Fridays from Friday 12 November. Applications are now open, find out more and apply here. Applications close Fri 22 Oct at 5pm.
