Youth Advocates

Then our Youth Advocates group is for you! Through bi-monthly sessions and creative workshops, you’ll have a platform to explore issues that are important to you and work with others to produce your own creative projects.

What you’ll be doing
As a Youth Advocate, you’ll have access to stimulating workshops with artists and plan and run your own events. You’ll also learn more about creative careers and hear from a variety of people working in the arts about their pathways into creative industries. Previous workshops have been with Belarus Free Theatre, Art Against Knives and Chickenshed.

Where and when?  
Sessions take place at artsdepot fortnightly during term time on Thursdays from 4.30pm – 6.30pm. Sessions are open to everyone and new faces are encouraged! The full list of dates is below.

Who’s it for? 
Anyone with a connection to Barnet aged 14 – 21. We are looking for young people with an interest in and passion for the arts, from drama to film to visual arts.
