Join Rachel Bellman and Eden Tredwell, creators of new musical ‘Pretty Poison’ (part of artsdepot and Tsitsit’s current Platform residency) for a handmade skincare workshop, hosted by Wholeface Workshops.

We will make from scratch, two natural skincare products inspired by recipes from Renaissance Italy, where the musical is set!  All workshop materials and ingredients are provided – no knowledge or experience needed.

During the workshop, we welcome and invite conversation about the topic of female beauty standards which is a prominent theme within our show.

The workshop is free to attend, and spaces are limited.

Please inform us of any known allergies, or skincare sensitivities/conditions (eg eczema/rosacea) by e-mail at participation@artsdepot.co.uk.

About the show
Pretty Poison tells the story of the Jewish immigrants and female entrepreneurs behind the cosmetics trade of 16th century Renaissance Italy. Inspired by true stories, it follows two friends who use their inherited knowledge to start a cosmetics business. But when a customer asks for access to their poisonous ingredients to murder her husband, the business takes a darker turn.
