We're looking for a heritage specialist with experience in curation and project management to collaborate on an exciting volunteer-led exhibition project celebrating artsdepot’s 20th anniversary.

Working closely with a Volunteer Manager and team of local volunteers, this role will involve supporting and guiding the research into artsdepot’s history and its context, leading to an exhibition across the venue in 2025.

This project is a volunteer-led deep dive research project exploring artsdepot’s history; from the idea of a new arts venue for Barnet being floated at a conference in 1996 up to our twentieth anniversary in 2024. The research will also explore the social, political and cultural context of our stories, and the many communities who have been a part of that journey. The stories will be curated into an engaging and interactive exhibition running across our venue.

We anticipate this work to be delivered largely in person. Dates of delivery TBC but expected between September 2024 and August 2025.
