A friendly mixed-ability class for anyone wishing to improve their posture and build strength.
Pilates can work for anyone! Based on the principles and exercises devised by Joseph Pilates, this class helps to lengthen and strengthen all muscles in the body, which in turn addresses our posture and stability. People who regularly practice pilates report a decrease in back pain, shoulder tension and many other issues associated with our busy, sometimes stressful lifestyles.
As Joseph himself said, pilates “improves posture, restores vitality, invigorates the mind and elevates the body.”
Beginners are welcome.
