Carrot

Carrot, a drag artist with long red hair is looking straight at the camera, they are wearing a green outfit with a lot of ruffles around the neck and down the front and large puffed sleeves.

Carrot is a non-binary drag artist and producer based in East London. They have spent the last 4 years carving out a career as the UK’s premiere drag vegetable, most nobly producing and hosting monthly The Enby Show across the UK. Their practice is about creating joy for the sake of joy and they take silliness very seriously. Whilst doing this, their work aims to uplift and platform the global majority, the queer community and, where possible, embed access from the roots (pun intended).

During their residency at artsdepot, Carrot was developing a drag show for children exploring how the fun, silliness and play that comes with drag can translate to a ‘storytime’-style show for a young audience with music, dancing, puppetry and storytelling.
