This event has now finished.

A multi-medium exhibition celebrating works by Barnet residents over the age of 55 who attend Age UK Barnet activities such as art class, pottery class, and dementia day opportunities.

The way that we are ageing is changing, but our perceptions about ageing are lagging behind. This multi-medium exhibition has been collated to challenge perceptions of age, ageing and ageing with conditions such as dementia.

We hope that this exhibition encourages people to re-frame age into a positive light and can facilitate conversations give people the confidence to champion positive and realistic representations of ageing and later life.

The opening of the exhibition and launch of the Age-friendly Barnet Action Plan will take place on Wednesday 6 March 2024. This event will be part of Age UK’s  ‘Action Against Ageism’ month and is open to all with no prior booking required.

Some of the artworks on display are on sale. Please speak to Box Office for any enquiries.
