Nick is a young stroke survivor living in full-time care with his divorced mother. When he begins an online romance with Lucinda, his hopes for love and intimacy seem to be taking shape. But when his carer Jasmine enters his life, the boundaries between care, friendship and desire begin to shift.

Sex & Disability doesn’t just tell a story about disability – it is created and performed by almost an entirely disabled cast. Alongside Damian Darkness, the production features an entirely disabled cast, bringing together performers with both physical and invisible disabilities. Their lived experiences bring depth and authenticity to a musical that challenges stereotypes while celebrating love, intimacy and independence. Featuring an original score by acclaimed composer Mishkin Fitzgerald, the musical moves effortlessly between comedy, heartbreak, tenderness and passion, capturing the emotional highs and lows of Nick’s journey!
