Frozen Light: 2065
The year is 2065; the people are stifled under an oppressive regime made up of all-powerful corporations. We follow a group of rebels who live outside the system and believe things can change for the better. How can they remind people of a time when things were different? When they hoped not only to survive but to thrive? Can they bring music back to a city where it is needed more than ever?
2065 is a futuristic sensory extravaganza for audiences with profound and multiple learning disabilities. Frozen Light are specialists in making sensory theatre for adult audiences with PMLD and this is there fifth touring production.

Reviews for Frozen Light's The Isle of Brimsker
“Theatre has the power to capture and here it did so with massive success. The music pitched beautifully, the atmosphere bang on, the lighting and effects – particularly the multi coloured back drop – exactly like the radio – was clearly due to listening to your audience, consulting the research already done and uniquely responding accordingly.” Fringe Review (read the full review)
“palpable joy and delight coming from the onlookers when faced with the lights, the shadows, the sensations. And it was easy to see the way the carers, families and friends cherished the chance to relax with their loved ones in a public space, and be told a simple story.” ★★★★ WhatsOnStage (read the full review)
“A magic box of delights… The thought which has gone into the piece is evident, but it’s matching this with playfulness, a light touch and plenty of panache that has created a real gem.” Exeunt Magazine (read the full review)

Frozen Light makes sensory theatre for adult and young adult audiences with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) which we tour to theatres and arts centres across the UK.
Founded in 2013 Frozen Light have created 6 shows which have toured to over 70 different venues across the UK. In 2016 we were the first company to take a show specifically for audiences with PMLD to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and we returned again in 2017 as part of the British Council Showcase. In 2019 we were invited to New Zealand to work with Touch Compass Dance to support the development of the country’s first show specifically for audiences with PMLD which became Masina Returning Home.
