pictured from above, 4 peoples hands are placed around the edge of a round table with their little fingers touching, as if they're doing a seance. The colours in the image are strange, as if it has been badly developed.

artsdepot Youth Theatre: Wind / Rush Generation(s)

Wind / Rush Generation(s) by Mojisola Adebayo performed by artsdepot Youth Theatre, directed by Anastasia Osei-Kuffour.

This version of the play has been heavily edited for this performance and does not reflect the full piece from the writer.

This is a play about the British Isles, its past and its present. A group of students are troubled, not by the weight of their workload, but by a ‘noisy’ ghost.

So they do what any group self-respecting and intelligent students would do – they confront their spiritual irritant and lay them to rest – only to be confronted by the full weight of Britain’s colonial past – in all its gory glory.

Venue: wherever you like! (watch on YouTube)
