In 2014 we supported the development of Beegu, a new show for children by Dotted Line Theatre, based on the book by Alexis Deacon.

Beegu was a delightful wordless show for children aged 3 - 8 and played in the studio theatre between Wednesday 3 - Saturday 13 December 2014. The show tells the tale of Beegu, a little lost alien who crash lands on Earth and her attempts to make sense of the world around her. The production was full of music, song, beautiful puppetry and audience interaction.

“I thought the show was really good because I liked the way Beegu had lots of feelings.” Marley, aged 7

“I thought the show was a magical interpretation of the book. It was gentle and subtle; appropriate for the young age range. My 6 and 3-year-olds were captivated. Great stuff – please tour!” Clare
