Handprint Theatre make theatre for and with young people.
They use British Sign Language, storytelling and a combination of anything we can get their hands on to inspire young people from all backgrounds or abilities in sharing stories. Handprint Theatre create bilingual theatre which is accessible to all, translating the story from within the performance. Actors sign, speak and perform stories to both Deaf and hearing audiences.
The company will be working on Moonbird by Joyce Dunbar, a children's story about family, communication and acceptance, exploring how they can develop music and captions within the performance.
