Circulate is a 3 year funded programme focussing on outdoor arts in outer London boroughs and is funded through Arts Council England strategic touring programme. artsdepot is a host partner alongside The Albany, Watermans, Tara Arts, Harrow Arts Centre and Millfield Theatre. Additional partners are Emergency Exit Arts, the Mayor of London’s office and The Audience Agency.
In 2014, artsdepot is looking to support a scratch idea for a new piece of outdoor arts and to develop a productive working relationship with the selected artist/company as we approach our ten year anniversary. artsdepot is seeking ideas for a new family friendly outdoor arts commission. The commission fee for this new scratch idea is £3,000 inclusive plus mentoring and training. The idea must be for a new work and not something that has previously received any research support.
Timeframe: the scratch idea needs to be ready to share by summer 2014. artsdepot will supply rehearsal space and technical advice in kind to develop the scratch idea. Circulate will provide mentoring and training for the chosen artist/company.
