The Chronicles of Atom and Luna

The Chronicles of Atom and Luna is the new story from Funnelwick Limb and Murray Lachlan Young (BBC 6 Music Poet in Residence), with music by Paul Hartnoll (Orbital).

Our heroes Atom and Luna are twins who, left alone by their mother, must seek out the mysterious Old Mother Redbeard, to save their larger-than-life childminder Iffly Sney. To do so they will journey deep into a magical forest.

In Chronicle One Murray Lachlan Young shares his six beautifully crafted Tales from the Forest exploring the forest’s past and the origins of its magic. Listen to or watch these audio tales in any order at home or maybe even on a woodland walk! The audio tales include BSL and captions and are for ages 7+.

Chronicle Two uses AR (augmented reality) to allow children and their families the chance to go ahead of Atom and Luna and explore the forest themselves. Mixing fairy tales with poetry and tech wizardry with fantasy, watch a magical world appear on your kitchen table as you search for the mysterious Old Mother Redbeard. An interactive fairy tale game, playable at home, for ages 5+.

Produced by Funnelwick Limb, in association with Action Transport Theatre and Eastern Angles
