The Mythology of Self-Empowerment

Many people learn to believe they are powerless in the face of certain ‘other people’, in the face of uncontrollable circumstances and in the face of their own habits of a lifetime. They go on self-empowerment workshops and courses, hoping they will restore their power to change and be more effective in all that they do and be more successful in all they achieve.

But it’s not possible. In fact, you don’t need to go anywhere or to anyone to be 'empowered’. And it’s also not possible to ‘empower’ yourself!

In this event, Mike George explores:

  • The real meaning and source of your power
  • The things you do that sabotage your power
  • How to restore yourself to ‘full power’
  • The many myths that arise from the idea of self-empowerment

Mike George is an author of 15 books on self-awareness and spiritual intelligence. He is an inspirational speaker who, for the last thirty years, has been coaching, guiding and facilitating the personal and executive development of people in companies, corporation and communities in over 40 countries.
