Artist Development Workshop
artsdepot is delighted to offer two, 45 minute peer-led Artist Development Workshops, with networking and a natter inbetween. This is a great opportunity for artists to add to or hone skills in their toolkit in a welcoming, warm environment.
Theatre-maker Daniel Bye will develop skills in Assembling a Creative Team, and Producer and Playwright Rachel Barnett-Jones leads How to Work With a Producer.
Daniel Bye is a writer, director and theatre maker from the north east of England. His work has toured widely across the UK and internationally. He has created work to commission for many of the UK’s leading theatres, including Northern Stage, Leeds Playhouse, Royal & Derngate, Oxford Playhouse and HOME.
Rachel Barnett-Jones is a playwright and producer, working mostly with Theatre for Young Audiences. As well as writing over 50 plays for a variety of audiences she has produced numerous national tours, both for her own work and for other companies. She is currently running Ensonglopedia, and Fly High Stories, whose debut show opens at the Singapore Repertory Theatre in February, before touring the UK in Autumn 2020.
A member of the artsdepot Programming Team will also be present to answer questions about how we programme work and how we support artists through our residency programme. If you have any questions about access or about this event please email email@example.com
