Artist Workshop: Marketing Your Work
Led by Sam Edmunds and Vikesh Godhwani, Co-Artistic Directors of Chalk Line Theatre, this workshop is an introduction into essential marketing tools needed to promote a successful production.
This is an entry level workshop for emerging artists / companies who want to pick up new skills and approaches to promoting their work or brand. It will tackle how to write a press release and engage with reviewers, different ways of marketing your show, branding, and how to make your copy / poster image stand out.
Join in for a relaxed discussion in which Sam and Vikesh will share their first-hand experiences of running a theatre company over the last four years. It is a chance to ask any questions or discuss concerns you have on this topic.

This workshop will take place on Zoom and will be approximately 2 hours long.
Here’s how you access the workshop:
1. We’ll send you the Zoom ID and password 1 hour before the workshop via email.
2. Make sure you have a device with Zoom downloaded and you’ve created a FREE account.
3. When it’s time for the workshop to start, log into your Zoom account, input the meeting ID and password, turn on your audio and video camera and wait in the ‘waiting room’ until the host lets you in.
