Earthworm Ceramics

Jessica Sinyor is a self-taught ceramic artist, producing wheel-thrown, functional tableware out of a small studio in a blue shed in East Finchley. She favours satisfying, rounded forms and a simple glazing style. Each piece is made from stoneware clay, fired to 1250 degrees. Jessica teaches ceramics at St Joseph's Caritas, a pastoral centre for adults with learning disabilities based in Hendon, and also volunteers alongside the Occupational Therapist at the Highgate Mental Health Centre.
