We provide creative learning opportunities for young people with disabilities that help participants improve communication skills. The workshops encourage self-expression and build self-confidence by working towards a public performance or exhibition.
The workshops are led by professional arts companies such as Candoco (who appeared at the Paralympic ceremonies 2012), Amici Dance Theatre (based at Lyric Theatre Hammersmith), Emergency Exit Arts (outdoor arts specialists), and HighRise Theatre (urban, young and diverse theatre-makers).
The workshop group will normally have 8-10 young people with a variety of needs and sessions are led by at least one artist and one support worker.
