Upstanding Citizens is a weekly movement session for those at risk of falling. Focusing on building strength, coordination and balance through movement, this course will help to develop confidence in a fun and friendly environment. 

Led by an experienced dance and movement teacher in collaboration with a Frailty Specialist Physiotherapist, the Upstanding Citizens group offers participants a creative and sociable approach to movement and exercise with the aim of reducing their risk of falling.

Please note: These sessions do not take place at artsdepot. Sessions take place on Fridays, 1.30pm – 3pm at Ann Owens Centre (N2 8LT)

More info on prices:

Base Rate – £10 This cost is the basic rate required to cover the running costs of the class. A block booking discount is available – £9 per session when you book 3+ sessions.

Supporter Rate – £15 The supporter rate is for anyone who is able to and wants to pay a bit extra to support other participants. The money goes into our Access fund which enables us to offer subsidised spaces for those who experience financial barriers which mean they wouldn’t be able to participate in the class. A block booking discount is available – £14 per session when you book 3+ sessions.

Subsidised Rate – £7 This is available for anyone experiencing financial difficulty at the moment, it is subsidised by our Access Fund.
