artsdepot Youth Dance - Contemporary
Are you interested in developing your dance technique, performing, choreographing or simply having fun and socialising?
artsdepot Youth Dance is a chance for young people in school years 7 – 11 to develop contemporary dance technique, performance skills and choreograph their own movement.
Weekly classes are led by an experienced professional dance teacher and introduce the principles and foundations of contemporary dance technique and choreography. The fun and energetic sessions focus on increasing your strength, fitness and flexibility as well as developing your co-ordination skills and musicality.
There are opportunities to work in groups and individually in these dynamic classes to create your own imaginative movement sequences and dance phrases, guided by the teacher.
Develop your confidence and performance skills through performances for friends and family at the end of each term.
No experience necessary.
