We're bringing 15 organisations in Barnet together with the aim of providing a rich cultural education for every child and young person in the borough. For more information, watch the Launch Event video in the tab above.
Become a member of the BCEP
Following the successful launch of the Barnet Cultural Education Partnership (BCEP), we would like to invite you to become a member of the BCEP. As a member, you will receive information about opportunities from other members, be able to apply for access funding and join our working groups.
If you would like to become a member of the BCEP, please complete this registration form.
One of the ways we are supporting the CEP is to manage a £5,000 annual Access Fund where members of the partnership can apply for small grants of up to £250 supporting access to cultural education opportunities. Applications are particularly encouraged from schools and arts organisations that are working in the priority areas of excluded children, those with special educational needs, faith schools and home educated children. Please fill out this short form to apply.
If you are from a school, please do complete the school’s survey if you haven’t already. It takes roughly 10 minutes and will help us map school’s cultural provision in the borough. The more responses received, the more use the data collected so we would be grateful if you could share with any colleagues or teachers you work with.
We have also established working groups which, as a member, you will have the opportunity to join and help shape. There are three groups: Culture and Heritage, Health and Wellbeing, and Performing Arts in Education. If you would like to be a part of one of these, please specify on your registration form. Alternatively, if you would like more information please email Francesca on firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are in the process of setting up a youth panel. Members of the youth panel will be able to meet other young people, help create change in their borough, meet and connect with a wide range of cultural and education organisations.
Members of the youth panel will have their say and represent the voice of young people in Barnet. They will have the opportunity to creatively input into developing the BCEP through involvement in its meetings and events. They will develop a wide range of skills including leadership and creative skills as well as building experience for their CV.
If you know any young person who you think would like to be a part of the youth panel, please do nominate them through this form.
Alternatively, if you’d like some more information please get in touch wih Francesca via email@example.com.
Our planned event on Tue 19 May has been postponed. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. To find out about the rescheduled date, sign up to the BCEP as a member for free here.
