Parking

How many car parking spaces are there at artsdepot?

Beneath artsdepot, (the entrance is adjacent to the bus standing area) there are around 50 pay & display spaces which can be used by the centre’s visitors. In this car park there are also 10 accessible/disabled spaces providing you can display a disabled permit.

Where can I park locally? What time do local car parks close?

There are around 400 Pay and Display parking spaces in borough run car parks in close proximity to artsdepot. All the borough car parks are pay and display from Monday to Saturday, 8am–6.30pm and are unrestricted out of these hours; the maximum stay varies from 4 hours to all day. There is an Aldi car park below artsdepot with a limited number of short–stay pay and display spaces and disabled parking. The pay and display operates from 7.30am-9pm, Monday to Saturday and 8am-6pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Where are the nearest disabled parking spaces local to artsdepot if your spaces are full?

To make access much easier for our disabled and elderly patrons individuals can be dropped off directly outside our main entrance at Box Office. However this is unfortunately not a parking area and cars will have to park elsewhere away from the emergency exit.

For disabled drivers there are also alternative parking spaces locally if our spaces are full. There is a space very close on the High Street outside Harris Fine Art, one outside 20 Nether Street opposite Trinity Church and one outside 8 Dale Grove, which is parallel to Nether Street on the way to Waitrose. There are also disabled spaces available for artsdepot’s audiences in all of the local car parks.
