CLAY WORKSHOP IN THE DARK – A DIFFERENT KIND OF CREATIVITY

Blind instructors lead a pottery workshop performed in total darkness. Darkness provides the opportunity for personal creativity to be unleashed, freeing from the constraints of how something should look.
SIGN LANGUAGE WORKSHOP – A DIFFERENT KIND OF COMMUNICATION
10.45 - 11.45am | 1.30 - 2.30pm | 2.45 - 3.45pm
Deaf instructors teach you the basic ‘words’ of sign language in a fun and humorous manner. This original workshop provides an interactive experience in visual language and a rather different form of communication.
TASTING WORKSHOP IN THE DARK – A DIFFERENT KIND OF SENSING
10.45 - 11.45am | 1.30 - 2.30pm | 2.45 - 3.45pm
Aided by blind instructors, participants try different kinds of food and drink in total darkness and learn to recognise flavours. Enjoy having your taste buds enhanced to the max.
Workshops are suitable for children aged 7+ with accompanying adult.
When booking, you will need to specify which session and workshop you would like to attend. You can book for one, two or all three sessions.
Workshops offered between 10:45am and 3:45pm, as per above, with the option to see the performance before or after taking part in the workshops
