Education & Outreach
The education department delivers a variety of outreach and in house arts activities including workshops, courses, residencies, performances, talks and training/INSETS.
All our work falls in to five main strands: Ignite, Play!, Roots and Wings, Schools and Access.
Many of our projects are funded through London Borough of Barnet as artsdepot delivers their arts provision, which is based within Youth and Connexions. This enables us to take a broader role in arts development in the borough and establish the organisation as one of the key resources for the arts in Barnet. Our provision links in with London Borough of Barnet’s Corporate strategy and Every Child Matters, with an emphasis on provision for children and young people, especially those who are hard to reach and at risk.
Other funders include, The Prince's Foundation for Children & the Arts, Youth Music, Children in Need and Arts and Business, helping to broaden our programme.
