artsdepot's main 400-seat theatre is sponsored by the Finchley based international company, Pentland Group.

Pentland Group is the owner or licensee of a number of leading worldwide sports and fashion brands including Speedo, Ellesse, Kickers, Red or Dead and Lacoste. The group, whose vision is to develop a portfolio of world class, category-leading brands in sports, outdoor and fashion, started life as The Liverpool Shoe Company in 1932, selling fashion footwear to UK retailers. Today, Pentland Group is one of the country’s leading brand management companies.

The Pentland Theatre is an impressive, versatile area, which offers:

a 400 seat auditorium (270 stalls, 130 circle)
complete accessibility for those with access requirements
fly tower facilities
an adaptable orchestra pit
completely flat floor configuration (320 sq metres)
a flat floor with a raised stage (cabaret mode)

Aside from theatre, dance, music and comedy events, with seating the Pentland Theatre is an ideal space for conferences, symposiums, talks and lectures, in completely flat flooring mode the theatre is suitable for trade/craft exhibitions, dinner/dances, presentations, banquets, product launches, fashion shows, corporate entertaining and workshops.

artsdepot is a completely networked, wireless building with state of the art computing systems making it broadcast friendly. artsdepot's ISDN line enables live or recorded broadcasts from the venue. Technical facilities include an internal loading bay beneath the main theatre with the ability for power lines to record to or broadcast from a vehicle.

The Pentland Theatre is designed to cater for disabled technical staff and performers, as well as audience members. The unique tension-wire flooring solution enables safe access to the lighting and technical rig for wheelchairs users.
